American violinist Daniel Fields currently studies with Ellen dePasquale at Indiana University's Jacob's School of Music. He additionally performs as a first violinist with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and Assistant Principal Second Violin with the IU Symphony Orchestra. Past engagements include performing as Concertmaster of the National Orchestral Institute Philharmonic and CCM's Concert Orchestra, and Principal Second Violin of the CCM Philharmonia and the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra.

Daniel has performed in masterclasses for James Ehnes, Rachel Barton Pine, and Alex Kerr and has studied chamber music with members of the Ariel and Pacifica String Quartets in addition to members of the Cleveland Orchestra.

 

A proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music studying with Timothy Lees, additional private studies include work with Peter Otto, Alex Kerr, Jessica Lee, and Dennis Kim. Daniel performs on a contemporary violin made in 2019 by Stanley Kiernoziak.
